About
Angie Barger
Clinical Herbalist & Somatic Therapist
Clinical Herbalist
Angie is a certified clinical herbalist in practice since 2012, offering an integrative and intuitive approach to plant-based healing. Her work weaves together Western Herbalism, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and constitutional assessment practices, grounded in a holistic view of health that honors the physical, emotional, and energetic dimensions of each person.
What sets Angie’s practice apart is her commitment to cultivating many of the herbs she works with. By growing and tending to these plants herself, she develops a direct and relational understanding of their energetic signatures—an intimacy that mirrors how she comes to know her clients. In this way, Angie serves as a matchmaker between plant and person, offering her expertise as a compassionate liaison on the healing path.
Her work invites individuals into a co-creative journey with the plants, where herbal formulations are not only medicinal but also an expression of deep energetic alignment and care.
Somatic Therapist
Angie is a somatic therapist specializing in trauma and addiction recovery through an integrative, body-based approach. Her work draws on Felt Sense Focusing, Polyvagal Theory, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and Mindfulness within the biopsychosocial framework, honoring the deep connection between mind, body, and spirit.
She is a certified Felt Sense practitioner, mindfulness educator, and long-time Vipassana meditation practitioner. Angie’s approach is grounded in feminist theory and relies on practices of inclusivity, coregulation, and the social engagement system as essential to healing. She is committed to creating spaces that support embodied presence, relational safety, and transformative self-awareness.
